Before energy drinks took over your childhood, there was a tiny red mascot flipping, shooting bubbles, and somehow making a platformer about soda absolutely work. That mascot was Cool Spot, and on the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis), the game hides some surprisingly powerful cheats and debug tricks.

Level Select Cheat (Sega Mega Drive / Genesis Version)
This is the big one.
On the Options screen, enter:
A → B → C → B → A → C → A → B → C → B → A → C
If done correctly, you’ll unlock Level Select, letting you jump to any stage in the game.
Perfect for skipping those brutal late-game platforming sections.
Debug Mode (Hidden Developer Tools)
Want to break the game wide open?
At the Options screen, enter:

If successful, you unlock Debug Mode, which gives you access to developer-style features when playing.
Think of it as stepping behind the curtain of a 90s platformer.

Bonus Tip: “Cool Meter” Strategy
Not a cheat, but it helps:
- Collect red spots aggressively
- Try to hit 85% Cool Meter for bonus stages
